- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- white pepper to taste
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup cornstarch
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 cups 2% milk
- 4 (6.5 ounce) cans minced clams, undrained, or more to taste
- 1 ½ tablespoons red wine vinegar
